Hope everyone is having a good and productive spring! Here at CUE we've been busy working with the school and planning for our 4th year of alumni events in 2010.

We've confirmed dates for the 2010 CU Film Festival Los Angeles: June 9-11. We'll be having a reception co-sponsored with the university-wide Columbia Alumni Associaion after screening the 2010 faculty selects one night, and are planning a new alumni panel with the school as well. We'll also be at a new venue this year... Creative Artists Agency!

Show your support - bring a friend - bring your family - to Columbia SoCal club's upcoming beach day. As part of the worldwide CU Community Outreach Day event, we are meeting at Venice Beach by the guard stand at Rose Avenue

THIS Sunday morning,
March 28th at 9:30 AM

Heal the Bay will be providing vouchers for $1 parking at the city lot and a speaker will give a short but educational lecture about the beach and our ecosystem. The program starts at 9:30 am and will go until noon or whenever you want to just sit down and enjoy the beach. For your participation, you will get a Columbia Tee-Shirt and a sack lunch (children's size shirts are available, if you are bringing kids).

Alumni Aaron Woolfolk's (SOA Film '98) debut feature film "The Harimaya Bridge" goes into limited theatrical release this month.

It opens in Los Angeles TONIGHT Friday, March 26th at Laemmle's Music Hall 3 Theatre, located at 9036 Wilshire Blvd. in Beverly Hills. For show times, as well as future release dates and cities, visit the official website:
