Thanks again to everyone who made our 2009 events a success. Hope everyone is having a good and productive spring! Here at CUE we've been busy working with the school and planning for our 4th year of alumni events in 2010.
We've confirmed dates for the 2010 CU Film Festival Los Angeles: June 9-11. We'll be having a reception co-sponsored with the university-wide Columbia Alumni Associaion after screening the 2010 faculty selects one night, and are planning a new alumni panel with the school as well. We'll also be at a new venue this year... Creative Artists Agency! Further details and RSVP information to come... Also, in case you missed it, we just posted the video of our 2009 Alumni Panel on Youtube (part 1, part 2), and have the pictures from our 2009 Holiday party with NYU posted here. Thanks to Ted Kim (SoA '98) for the Party photos and to our webmaster John Akin (SoA '99) for the panel video. |

Following is a letter and invitation to the upcoming MFA Actors Showcases, which will be Monday, May 4, 2009 and include a reception open to CUE members and other Columbia alumni working in entertainment. Click here for the full invite and RSVP information...
To My Fellow SoA Alumni,
As a graduate of the Columbia University School of the Arts MFA Acting Program, I have been fortunate enough to have had many extraordinary opportunities to practice the craft for which I was trained. Recently, I have returned to Columbia to help develop the professional preparation of the current third-year Acting class and to work with my fellow alumni to provide further opportunities in this endeavor.
As many of you know, the 2009 MFA Los Angeles Actors Showcase represents a critical juncture in the professional lives of these young artists.
